Josephine Duncan

Joey Duncan began her dance training at age 3 at BalletMet Dance Academy. She continued on at Shelby Bakies School of Dance. At 11 years old, Joey started her training at Columbus Dance Theatre in the Intensive Training Program. Joey completed the ITP program in 2023, while also dancing as a trainee with CDT’s company.

Joey has enjoyed being in many works such as Wonderment, A Midsummer Nights Dream, Three Musketeers, Alice: A Wonderland Ballet, The Jungle Book, and Firebird. One of her favorite roles being “Northern Lights” in CDT’s Wonderment. She has also greatly enjoyed being apart of contemporary works, a favorite being Experiment II, by Seth Wilson and Jaime Kotrba.

Joey is thrilled to continue into her third season with the company.
